The Secretariat of the Kaashidhoo Council is a legal entity created under the Decentralization of Administrative Areas Act. There are 5 councilors elected by the people of Kaashidhoo. A civil servants council office has been established to implement the decisions of the council and provide the services provided by the council. The office is located in the building formerly used as the village island office. The services of this agency are aimed at the people of Kaashidhoo, other villages living in Kaashidhoo and the people of the whole country in general.

ކައުންސިލްގެ ތައާރަފް
މާލެއަތޮޅު ކާށިދޫ ކައުންސިލަކީ ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ އިދާރީ ދާއިރާތައް ލާމަރުކަޒީ އުޞޫލުން ހިންގުމުގެ ޤާނޫނުގެ ދަށުން އުފައްދާފައިވާ ޤާނޫނީ ޝަޚުސެކެވެ. މި ކައުންސިލްގައި ކާށިދޫ ރައްޔިތުންގެ ވޯޓުން އިންތިޚާބުކޮށްފައިވާ 5 ކައުންސިލަރުން ތިއްބަވައެވެ. އަދި ކައުންސިލުން ނިންމާ ނިންމުންތައް ތަންފީޒު ކުރުމާއި، ކައުންސިލުންދޭ ޚިދުމަތްތައް ދިނުމަށްޓަކައި މަދަނީ ޚިދުމަތްތެރީންގެ ކައުންސިލް އިދާރާއެއްވަނީ ޤާއިމްކޮށްފައެވެ. މިއިދާރާ ޤާއިމްކޮށްފައިވަނީ ކުރީގައި ކ.ކާށިދޫ ރަށު އޮފީސް ހިންގި އިމާރާތުގައެވެ. މި އިދާރާގެ ޚިދުމަތްތައް އަމާޒު ކުރެވިފައިވަނީ ޚާއްޞަކޮށް ކ.ކާށިދޫ ރައްޔިތުންނާއި ކާށިދޫގައި ދިރިއުޅޭ އެހެނިހެން ރަށްރަށުގެ ރައްޔިތުންނާއި އަދި އާއްމުކޮށް މުޅިރާއްޖޭގެ ރައްޔިތުންނަށެވެ.
