Introduction Gaafaru council
The Gaafaru Council Office is responsible for providing services to the people of Gaafaru under the Decentralization of Administrative Areas Act.
It is the responsibility of this department to run, develop and provide the services required by the Decentralization Act to the people of Gaafaru in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Maldives.

ގާފަރު ކައުންސިލްގެ އިދާރާއަކީ ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ އިދާރީ ދާއިރާތައް ލާމަރުކަޒީ އުޞޫލުން ހިނގުމުމާއި ބެހޭ ޤާނޫނުގެ ދަށުން ކ.ގާފަރުގެ ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ބޭނުންވާ ޚިދުމަތްތައް ފޯރުކޮށްދިނުމުގެ މަސްޢޫލިއްޔަތު އަދާކުރުމަށް އުފައްދާފައިވާ އިދާރާއެކެވެ.
އެގޮތުން ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ ޤާނޫނު އަސާސީއާއި ޤާނޫނުތަކުގައި ބަޔާންކޮށްފައިވާ ގޮތުގެމަތިން ރަށް ހިންގައި، ތަރައްޤީކޮށް، ލާމަރުކަޒީ ޤާނޫނުން ލާޒިމްކޮށްފައިވާ ރައްވެހި ޚިދުމަތްތައް ގާފަރުގެ ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ފޯރުކޮށް ދިނުމަކީ މިއިދާރާގެ މަސްޢޫލިއްޔަތެކެވެ.
