The Secretariat of hura Council was established on 11 February 2011. The 4th term of the Hura Council is currently underway. However, there are currently 5 councilors in populations of less than 3000 thousand.
- Services provided by the council are Issuance of identity cards and birth certificates, maintenance of maternity and death registry, vehicle safety, establishment of facilities and facilitation of all basic services to the people.

- ކ.ހުރާ ކައުންސިލަކީ ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ ލާމަރުކަޒީ ޤާނޫންގެ ދަށުން ކައުންސިލް އުފެދިފައިވާނީ 11 ފެބުރުއަރީ 2011 ގައެވެ. މިހާރު މިހިގަމުންދަނީ ހުރާ ކައުންސިލްގެ 4 ވަނަ ދައުރެވެ. ކުރީދައުރުތަކުގައި ކައުންސިލްގައި ތިއްބަވަނީ 3 މެމްބަރުންނެވެ. ނަމަވެސް މިހާރު 3000 ހާހުން ދަށުގެ އާބާދީ ތަކުގައި ތިއްބަވަނީ 5 ކައުންސިލް މެމްބަރުން ނެވެ.
ކ.ހުރާ ކައުންސިލުންދޭ ޙިދުމަތްތަކު ތެރޭގައި އައިޑެންޓިޓީ ކާޑު ހަދައިދިނުމާއި އުފަންދުވަހުގެ ސެޓްފިކެތް ހަދައިދިނުން، ވިހާ މަރުވާ ރަޖިސްޓްރީ ބެލެހެއްޓުން، އުޅަދުފަހަރުގެ ސަލާމަތީ ހަދައިދިނުން، ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ބޭނުންވާ އެންމެހާ އަސާސީ ޚިދުމަތް ފޯރުކޮށްދިނުމުގައި ބޭނުންވާ ޥަޞީލަތްތައް ޤާއިމްކުރުމާ އަދި މަގު ތަނަވަސްކޮށްދިނުން.
